This position involves teaching at The University Institute of Technology which is situated at Les Tertiales in Valenciennes

Our Business and Marketing Techniques Department is part of the Université Polytechnique Des-Hauts-De-France.

The lecteur-lectrice will work 200 hours per year + extra hours possible.

Net salary : 1200 euros per month , including medical coverage, expandable to family .

The contract starts on the first of september 2025 and ends on the thirty-first of August 2026.

We are looking for an English native speaker who has completed a 4-year university course
We offer a position which requires to work in collaboration with the permanent English teachers and the other teachers of the Business and Marketing Techniques Department.
You will be expected to teach first and second year students sitting for the BUT Technology University Degree in Business and Marketing.
We seek a lecteur-lectrice who will organise and give conversation classes to students who need to communicate in English in a professional context, integrate crossculture factors, encourage and develop fluency practice.

As you will be working with students whose level in English can be variable( from A2 to B2, this involves to help them to improve their language skills .
Assessment in close collaboration with the English teachers will be carried out during class time.
The applicant will be expected to take interest in our area of study which is trade,marketing, sales communications, negotiations, customers relationships.
However, no specific or prior knowledge of the specialist subject areas is required.
